Deposits & Funding

Since Onyx is self-custodial, you do not deposit funds “into” Onyx. Instead, you fund a safe proxy wallet which is derived using thirdweb’s wallet derivation tools.

Supported Assets

Onyx operates with USDC.e on the Polygon network as this is what is used for polymarket.

How to Fund

  1. Purchase USDC: Buy USDC.e on the Polygon network on a centralized exchange (Coinbase, Binance, Kraken).
  2. Withdraw to Polygon: Withdraw your USDC to your wallet address on the Polygon network.
  3. Transfer from Browser Wallet: Alternatively, if you have USDC.e in your browser wallet, you can transfer it to the safe proxy wallet.
